Chad Koch is a lifelong athlete with a multidisciplinary approach to healing and strengthening body, mind, and spirit.
Certified in Eldoa, SomaTherapy, MAT and MET therapies, Chad’s journey has given him the tools needed to understand the body’s neuromuscular foundations and to help people feeling pain, lack of mobility or weakness regain function and strength.
Chad began his professional teaching and training career while still in college. He became certified to teach Tae Kwon Do in 2000.
A knee injury playing indoor soccer in 2006 led him to yoga. He used yoga to rehabilitate and strengthen his knee. He recognized the long-term limitations he would face in Tae Kwon Do and started learning Tai Chi in 2009.
In late 2008, after a short career as an architect, he took the leap to teaching full time. He quickly built up his class schedule and added yoga and Tai Chi in 2011 and 2012. He apprenticed with Nancy Fox of Fine Line Yoga in Hatha Yoga and Yoga for Scoliosis classes from 2010-2018, and Gabriel Halpern of Yoga Circle in Gentle and Level 2-3 classes from 2010-2015.
Chad became certified as a Muscle Activation Techniques® specialist in 2018 and went on to complete all Master level classes. He also completed classes with Muscle Energy Techniques and Postural Restoration Institute, and added an ACE Personal Training certification in 2019. Chad is now also certified in Eldoa and SomaTherapy.
Chad is a lifelong learner whose passion is the mechanics and function of the body as well as helping people feel healthy, strong and centered.
